I was raised in a middle-class family in Lahore - the second largest city of Pakistan. By profession, I am a research scholar, IELTS trainer, and writer. I received my early years' education from a public sector school, then in tertiary level of education I received BS(hons) degree in Information Technology, Masters in English 'linguistics and Literature' and M.Phil 'Teaching English as a Second Language' from Preston University, National University of Modern Language and Beaconhouse National University respectively.
In my professional life, I served in various national and multinational organization - Trojans, Beaconhouse School System, Nestle, DESCON Engineering, The City School, etc - in different capacities, where I performed as an IT professional, administrator, and teacher in these systems. Currently, I am teaching online and working on my research papers.
Since my school age, I accept challenges and this instinct further dragged me to proceed a research in the domain of 'Language Assessment and Evaluation', the field is the most neglected academic area in Pakistan. Eventually, for my final dissertation, I decided to work in this domain. Knowing the fact that to keep in contact with the Cambridge Assessment Center was not easy when you stay in Pakistan. At the stake of my M.Phil program, I immersed myself into IELTS Academic Reading module and eventually I accomplished my study. At that time, there was hardly anyone present in Pakistan who did any research in IELTS.
