Some people believe that children should be allowed to stay at home and play until they are six or seven years old. Others believe that it is important for young children to go to school as soon as possible. What do you think are the advantages of attending school from a young age?

Analytically speaking, education, in general, and early education, in particular, has become a growing concern for many. While top academics favour early enrolment of young children, others consider schooling should be after the age of five. I think, while considering ongoing challenges, the first argument sounds more realistic.

What lies behind the emerging popularity of early-years enrolment? The busy routine of parents is surely one explanation. In an urban lifestyle, both parents need to work twenty-four-seven, and for this reason, school is the only place to accommodate the children. It is evidently observed that the screen time of toddlers is extensively long, which could be devastating physiologically and psychologically. Sending them to school could curtail the repercussion of this abnormal use of gadgets is another reason. But one factor behind this growing trend has passed all but unnoticed: the impact of the Information Age. Where technology brings ease to human life, the flow of information – in particular, unrestricted flow of knowledge – has started a new race of gaining more and more knowledge in order to compete in modern challenging. In this regard, all stakeholders feel like stuffing young minds with ample information.

Conversely, the traditional view of sending pupils a little late is also meaningful. The foremost reason is parenting: in old customs, parents, especially the mother, are responsible is to inculcate ethics and rudimentary life lessons in their children. Experts consider this affiliation highly significant and advocate the pros of late schooling. Avoiding early responsibilities is another factor why most people think that the age of six or seven is the right time for learning because taking the bar of education may adversely affect schoolgoers.

In the culmination of the above discussion, we may assert that these days, educating children at a young age is meaningful as they could grasp more knowledge, face upcoming challenges, and provides space for their parents.

Undoubtedly, the significance of early education is inevitable. In this regard, parenting is an essential part of life, and young ones must spend this time at home. However, others suggest that early enrolment is extremely vital, these days, to meet the upcoming challenges of life.

On what grounds, sending youngsters a little late to school is part of old custom? The foremost is cutthroat competition within academics, learning new concepts, and daily reinforcement embedded with homework is considered unfair for the minors. Hence, parents and experts both discourage such activities which are adding a bar on the learners at early stages of life.

Conversely, the pros of preschool outweigh its disadvantages as learners follow a routine and avail more learning opportunities. Because of a busy schedule, parents could curtail the ailing effects of screen time, which could have adverse effects at later stages of their lives. Likewise, with extensive involvement with peers, they get more exposure: for instance, while having hands-on experience with puzzles, building blocks, and drawing activities. All of this enhances their motor skills and enables them to be socially disciplined.

In the culmination of the above discussion, we may assert that the emerging trend of sending young ones to school a little early could be helpful in various ways. for instance, they tend to be organized, confident, and more responsible in terms of time management. In the coming future, more and more people will send their toddlers to pre-primary school, generally to make them ready for upcoming life challenges.
