Letter - Sample 24
Writing Task 1 – You should spend about 20 minutes on this task || (minimum words limit 150)
You ordered a new cheque book from your bank two weeks ago but you have received nothing.
Write a letter to the manager complaining about the bad service. Say when and how you ordered the cheque book. Ask how much longer you will have to wait and ask the manager what action he will take over this matter.
I am writing to you in the hopes that you will address the situation regarding the delivery of the cheque book I ordered from your bank. I have not received it, despite being promised that it would be delivered within forty-eight hours of placing my order.
I was of the opinion that your world-renowned bank was completely against tardiness and was famous for its wonderful client care. However, I am sorely disappointed at not having received the cheque book I ordered, despite clearly stating that it was a matter of utmost urgency. The employee who attended to me in the bank was only half listening to me, seeming more interested in whatever was displayed on her computer screen. I believe I had to repeat myself three times regarding the matter of my cheque book and why I needed it so urgently.
Please do look into the matter of your lagging service and unattentive staff and do me the courtesy of letting me know when I'll be receiving my cheque book. I am concerned about the falling standards of this bank that I once believed to be the best, do let me know what you plan on doing to change the current state of things.
I hope the situation will be resolved soon.
