Amongst the very limited number of newspapers I read, the school newspapers are by far the most interesting. As everyone knows, the youth greatly relies on technology and social media to keep themselves updated, rendering newspapers, well, outdated and unused. The school newspapers tend to hold matters of far more concern to me than the local papers considering the fact that I live in a boring town, with so few interesting stories and opportunities to be scouted out in newspapers. School newspapers contain various achievements of different individuals from the student body, showcasing different artworks and poems made and written by the students. It's always inspiring to see the effort and creativity of fellow peers. It helps motivate others to try to participate in various school-oriented activities as well as keep them informed of any upcoming opportunities they can seize to expand on their potential as young students. School newspapers also offer a fair bit of healthy humour as opposed to the outdated comic exhibited in local newspapers.
