Response 1

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to you with regards to my need for accommodation in your Hall of Residence.

I am a South African student studying in the UK- for reasons that I'm sure are quite obvious. I'd like to be as comfortable during my studies as I can be, and your residence hall is reputed to be one of the better university residence lodgings offered here. I would highly appreciate being offered a place to stay in your esteemed establishment.

I study a few blocks away from your establishment, which is very convenient for me, seeing as I often study till late in the evenings. Being a young male student, I won't be needing much in terms of furnishing; a simple bed and closet will do. In terms of food, I'll be arranging my own food as I have a specific Islam-oriented diet, so you need not worry about that. Additionally, you need not worry about rowdy or extra company as I will be on my own most of the time, considering my hectic study schedule and syllabus.

I hope to hear from you very soon.

Kind regards,
