A person's decisions and choices shape him or her throughout their lives, and I cannot dispute that mine have done just that. Throughout the foolish and wise, I've always managed to glean a lesson from every path I've chosen in life. A decision that resounds with me the most is my decision to study online. I made the decision to study online about two years ago when it became apparent that my parents would not be able to sustain the expenses that would come with me going to university. Such expenses would include my study and registration fee, naturally, and my accommodation and food expenses- owing to the fact that there is no university in my town, the closest university is located in the city an hour's drive away from us. Although I had always looked forward to attending a university to further my tertiary education, I had to make a compromise when my parents expressed that they would be unable to afford it. As opposed to not studying at all, I was committed to the fact that I would acquire a tertiary education no matter the obstacles that came with it. Though studying through correspondence was a last resort, I try to make the most of it. Life is not without its challenges, after all. Though it comes with more downs than ups, I have been managing to cope with this medium of education relatively well, though I do plan on attending university once I get the chance. I believe, considering the circumstances, the decision I made benefitted all parties in one way or another. I hope it benefits us further yet.

Thank you.
