Letter - Sample 31
Writing Task 1 – You should spend about 20 minutes on this task || (minimum words limit 150)
As part of a student social survey project, you are organizing a group to visit a historical exhibition in a small town.
Write a letter asking for information regarding such things as the contents of the exhibition, the dates of its opening and closing, and if there are any discounts available.
I am writing to you with regard to the group of students I will be accompanying to your historical exhibit taking place in a week. I would highly appreciate if you were to provide me with details on your exhibits and also the timing of the ceremony.
The students and I come from one of the schools that greatly support educational exhibits, such as yours, both morally and financially. I will be bringing the students due to the fact that the title of your exhibit greatly relates to the topics of discussion currently taking place in our syllabus. I think it would greatly encourage and educate them if they were more enthralled with the in-depth perspective on the subjects; something I think your exhibit will achieve wonderfully.
I'd humbly appreciate it if I were to be forwarded a detailed program of the day's progression as well as the timing, so as to make the necessary plans for transport and, if needed, accommodation. I'd also like to inquire on the subject of your fee and whether or not it would be possible to grant us a discount due to the large number of visitors- students, nonetheless- that will be attending the exhibit.
I hope my requests are met with a favourable response.
