Response 1

Dear Mr Potter,

I am writing to you with regard to some equipment I purchased from your shop a week ago, which turned out to be faulty.

I bought an electric blender at the price of three hundred rands from your store. I brought it home and proceeded to use it, intending to make banana-milkshake, only to find that the machine started releasing a worrying amount of smoke and hardly had any effect on the contents of the jug- meaning they did not, in fact, get pureed as I'd hoped. I immediately got on the phone with an attendant at your store, only to be told that they would not do anything about the faulty equipment they sold to me because of a non-refund policy. Please do have this machine exchanged for an alternative that actually works; I implore you to do your customers some justice.

I hope my request is met with a positive response. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Kind regards,
