Response 1

To an extent, the statement at hand is true. However, just as such, it is also false, to an extent, considering the fact that there are various factors to consider as well as multiple variables of the situation.

Undoubtedly, it's a growing norm to write about cultures instead of living in them and, in this day and age of filtering information to our desires, it would not be out of the question to find said written or recorded information to be lacking in many ways. Culture is increasingly becoming an exotic, distant topic of jesty conflicting conversations. It's far too easy to imagine people losing the essence of their personality- their being- to maintaining a superior digital presence. Ultimately, technology glorifies the materialistic far too much.

All things considered, all hope cannot be lost because humans are, after all, of an adaptive nature. Solutions could be drawn up for the increased immersion into technology rather than tradition, roots and culture. It may be suggested that it be made mandatory for history and social studies classes as well as taking out a portion of time for their day to spend time with their family as well as outdoors.

We can assert that the supposed progression of humanity will come at a steep cost- we cannot stop changing, but we can try to ensure that we change for the better.
